It does not address the current crisis, but it will help young kids better understand, and even articulate, their feelings at difficult times. The Perfect Shelter sees two girls building a den together, until the elder sister becomes unwell. Author Clare Helen Welsh doesn’t provide solutions or promises that everything will be OK. The message is to enjoy the now. Comforting.
