Bad case of Zoom face? Let’s rinse your lockdown wrinkles

-

After staring at our make-up-free faces on Zoom calls and Teams chats, it’s fair to say we’ve scrutinised every inch of our complexion over the past few months – open pores, fine lines, wrinkles, acne and all.

Here, beauty expert Frances Turner Traill shares her guide to the most popular post-lockdown treatments, which women (and men) have been booking in droves.

The non-surgical face lift

Our FTT non-surgical face lift is popular with people who don’t want to go under the knife. The treatment uses a combination of highintensity focused ultrasound to tighten loose skin around the jowl area, Silhouette Soft threads to reposition the skin and stimulate collagen, and Ellanse dermal filler to improve volume. Results are immediate, and can last for up to two years. Prices start from £2,000.

Pressotherapy

Our eye rejuvenation treatment uses Pressotherapy to give an intelligent vibrating massage, which helps with lymphatic drainage and contours the eye area.

The process involves applying radio frequency technology to the skin around the eyes, prompting the growth and repair of collagen within the skin, which helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, lines and sagging without surgery. Sessions start from £120.

Hand care

As we get older, our hands tend to give away our true age – but help is, well, on hand! To revolumise and help restore lost elasticity, we use Profhilo (an injectable moisturizer that is taking Scotland by storm) or the new collagen-stimulating dermal filler, Ellanse.

Results are immediate, and prices start from £250 per session.

Skin peels

As summer comes to a close, now is a good time to treat sun-damaged skin with either a one-off peel or a course of treatments. I suggest a course of the Obagi Blue Radiance peel or a one-off, deeper Obagi Blue TCA peel.

Preparing the skin with medical-grade skincare products will also provide better, longer-lasting results. You’ll notice a difference to your skin in seven days, and prices start from £100.

Bespoke facials

Wearing a mask on a daily basis is causing lots of skin problems – not least so-called “maskne” – so our bespoke hour-long facials are becoming phenomenally popular. Utilising a wealth of technologies, as well as good, old-fashioned knowledge, you’ll see rapid results. Treatments include, plasma technology, IPL, LED, aqua peeling, and mesotherapy (to name just a few) and facials are very popular with men, too. Prices start from £120.
