How Was It For You?

- Various

Over the past few years, it looks like there’s been an extra vow added in to celebrity marriages – Will you take this person to be your lawfully wedded podcast co-host?

The latest couple to have said “I do” to the notion are comedians Rachel Parris and Marcus Brigstocke.

As well as being excellent stand-ups in their own right, they met performing improv comedy together and have featured on The Hit List, Odd Couples and Meet The Richardsons, and even won Pointless Celebrities as a duo.

In new podcast How Was It For You? the comedy power couple offer a peek into the joyful mess that ensues when two professional funny people live together.

It’s a show where everything gets a review and a star rating out of five, from the bizarre to the inane to the heartfelt.

Up for review are men’s socks from Uniqlo, the school play, dodgy haircuts and much more.

Amid an influx of influencers on social media claiming to offer impartial advice while playing down the fact they’ve been paid for it, Rachel and Marcus aim to produce their own essential guide to living.

Juggling gigs, radio, TV, a toddler, an obsession with cheese, Roy the chameleon, live improvised Jane Austen shows in the West End and two adult step-kids, they are never short of things to give their ratings to.

Expect laughter, wild and often unsubstantiated opinions, accents and impressions and, of course, plenty of over-sharing.

The podcast follows the couple’s viral “lockdown lipsyncs” which reached global audiences and earned them appearances on everything from The Graham Norton Show to Good Morning America.
