Oxlade-Chamberlain stand-off

Progress between Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Arsenal over a new contract has faltered with no formal offer having been made. Liverpool remain interested and would be willing to play Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is in the final year of his contract, in his favoured central midfield position.
