July sees oceangoing blue sharks appear in Cornwall’s offshore waters, following migrating shoals of mackerel. Veteran diver Charles Hood has devised a way to swim safely with British blues from his boat, RIB Logan. You don’t even need scuba equipment, though you must be comfortable snorkelling in deep water.
