The letters opposite are only a small selection of the dozens we received on the subject of travelling abroad against the odds during the Covid-19 crisis.
A recurring theme in some of your other letters was how global restrictions had forced you to take stock of travel options closer to home, and relish experiences ranging from discovering secret walks and birdwatching spots on your doorstep to wild swimming, living off-grid in Devon and sailing around the Inner Hebrides.
With this in mind, we’d like to read more of your stories about rediscovering what the UK had to offer, whether it was a campsite or National Trust property you never knew was there, a fresh insight into local history or a holiday in Scotland or Wales to rival one in the Med.
