Our cover story celebrates the contribution of British designers to the luxury hotel scene worldwide, but we think there is something charming and very special about hotels here in Britain.
From Gleneagles, with its Scottish baronial decor and Highland views, to London grandes-dames such as The Lanesborough and The Savoy, the UK’s hoteliers can certainly do luxury. If you’ve stayed, dined or had tea at one of them, do tell us about it – but we’d also like to hear about more affordable and less famous options.
