Kissing compromise

SIR – Emma Jackson (Letters, July 10) looks forward to multiple social kissing ceasing when we leave the EU.

My problem is not multiple kissing, but which side to kiss first. Sometimes, during the confusion, a kiss occurs in the middle.

SIR – I believe the habit of multiple kissing is listed on the subjects to be negotiated as part of our withdrawal from the EU.

Although a Brexiteer, I dearly wish to retain this custom.
