Voice of Vader reprises role in Lion King
James Earl Jones is to reprise his role from The Lion King in a new remake.
The actor, 86, voiced Simba’s father Mufasa in the 1994 Disney animation blockbuster, which won two Oscars and earned $968 million (£780 million) at the box office.
Jones was also famously the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars films.
Jon Favreau, director of The Lion King remake, posted a photo of Jones on Twitter captioned: “Looking forward to working with this legend. #mufasa.”
He also revealed that Donald Glover, star of the television comedy series
will voice Simba.
