Pet Shop Boys

With a band of mannequins, inflatable Sumo dancers, lasers, and all manner of weirdness, Pet Shop Boys’s latest show promises to be the most bizarre of their career. Previewed at the Royal Opera House last year, it makes links between Wagnerian music theory and modern pop. At its core, though, the vintage electropop duo’s appeal relies on songs that reach both the head and the heart.
