US independence parchment found

A second parchment copy of America’s Declaration of Independence has been discovered filed away in a UK record office.

Researchers from Harvard University found the manuscript, which dates from the 1780s but is signed by the original 1776 signatories, in Chichester, West Sussex. The only other parchment copy is stored in Washington DC.
