The Secret Life

A collection showcasing three bits of journalism by O’Hagan, with the headline grabber being his abortive attempt to ghostwrite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s autobiography. He also looks at Craig Wright, who may or may not have invented the Bitcoin, as well as its pseudonymous inventor, Satoshi Nakamoto. All are fascinating stories, but O’Hagan’s need to examine the inner lives of his subjects appears to battle with an impulse which tells him they don’t have any. Jake Kerridge
