Animal rescue Pets evacuated with owners

A hedgehog, a parrot and three tanks of fish were evacuated from the tower blocks with their owners.

Joe Clarke, senior animal welfare officer at Islington Council, which is working with Camden, said 12 dogs, six cats, two budgies, a cockatiel, two hamsters and a guinea pig are also known to have been taken out of the blocks so far.
