Former US Secretary of State Colin Powell became famous around the world for his work under President George W Bush. But he is by no means having a quiet retirement. He has turned his attention to education, and opened the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership in New York City. The school gives students networking and internship opportunities through political and legal placements. Here, Powell discusses it and reveals his own story as a self-made man and the son of BritishJamaican immigrants.
