Meghan co-stars draft in the Suits team for big day

THEY may have perfected the art of dressing for the red carpet, with an impeccable on-screen wardrobe and a never-ending supply of party dresses.
But the cast of Suits, it seems, require a little helping hand when it comes to the sartorial minefield of an English royal wedding.
Meghan Markle’s former co-stars are having their royal wedding outfits made for them by the show’s wardrobe department, who are helping to source suitable dresses and hats.
Some of the show’s leading actors have chosen to use the “extremely talented” team, who usually dress them for the TV screen on the popular legal drama, to prepare their dresses and hats for Prince Harry and Ms Markle’s big day.
Members of the show’s crew are also believed to be utilising the skills of their colleagues for help with their wedding attire, with the formal dress requirements of the Windsor Castle event providing quite a task for American guests.
Prince Harry and Ms Markle will marry on May 19 at St George’s Chapel, eschewing politicians and heads of state for a congregation full of genuine friends and family.
The 36-year-old’s former television costars, who acted alongside her for seven years before Ms Markle left the show at the end of series seven, are all believed to be attending, including her on-screen lover Patrick Adams, as well as Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres.
Suits is filming its eighth series in Toronto. A source on the show told The Sunday Telegraph: “All the main cast members are going I think and a few of the crew. There’s a real hustle and bustle of excitement on the set of the show in Toronto, with people getting their outfits made.
“Last time I was there, I happened to run into a couple of people in wardrobe who were helping getting things made for some of those that are going. “They were just helping with some of the ladies’ outfits, helping with the dresses and the hats.”
Most of the crew who work on Suits are Canadian, with those closest to Ms Markle invited to share her wedding day, the show source said.
Praising the talent of the Suits wardrobe team, the source said: “They are very good, they’re extremely good, you can look at Sarah’s (Rafferty) clothing and Gina’s (Torres) clothing and see how wonderful they are. They just do it all.”
Suits executives have cleared the schedule for the wedding, it is claimed, so those invited can attend with minimal disruption. Ms Markle’s final episode aired last month.
