GHISLAINE MAXWELL A YEAR IN HIDING
Ghislaine Maxwell read books by Boris Johnson and the lawyer representing Jeffrey Epstein victims during her year in hiding, a close friend has claimed.
Ms Maxwell was arrested on Thursday in Bradford, New Hampshire, on sex trafficking charges, after spending 12 months trying to avoid the authorities.
The 58-year-old passed the time cooking, exercising and reading, her friends said, with choices including the Prime Minister’s biography of Winston Churchill, The Churchill Factor: How One Man Made History,
and Relentless Pursuit: My Fight for the Victims of Jeffrey Epstein, by the victims’ attorney, Bradley Edwards, in which she is prominently featured.
The disgraced British socialite received death threats on social media and in the post during her year under the radar, her friends also claimed.
“It’s the volume of threats. These are credible threats,” an anonymous friend told Vanity Fair.
The threats reportedly resulted in Miss Maxwell having to hire professional security guards.
