Sheep keep the Lakes landscape looking trim
SIR – Before Lord Goldsmith calls for bison to replace cattle on the uplands (Leading Article, June 28), he should get himself to the Lake District, where it is undergrazing by sheep (not overgrazing) that is the problem, particularly on the open High Fells.
