Wonder Woman banned

The Lebanese government has banned the new film, Wonder Woman, from being shown. The title character is played by Gal Gadot, an Israeli actress. Lebanon and Israel are enemies – in fact, the countries are officially at war, although there has been a ceasefire (when both sides agree to pause fighting) since 2006. The announcement has surprised cinema-goers because the film has been advertised in the country.
