A scaly surprise
A family in Sarasota County, Florida, US, got a fright when they discovered that a two metre-long alligator had decided to take a dip in their swimming pool. Female alligators like to look for large bodies of water, such as lakes and rivers, to lay their eggs. The sheriff’s office were able to remove the large, scaly reptile from the pool and the entire operation was caught on camera. The sheriff hopes it’ll be a warning for people in the area to check their pools before diving in.
