Huge marine park created

One of the biggest marine protection areas has been created off the coast of Easter Island, in the Pacific Ocean. Measuring 285,715 square miles – more than three times the size of the UK – the Rapa Nui marine park will protect around 142 marine species, including almost 30 species that are close to extinction. Industrial fishing will be banned within the park.
