Goodbye Christopher Robin, which will soon arrive in British cinemas, is a new film that tells of how author A.A. Milne got the inspiration for his most famous creation, Winnie-the-Pooh.

Pooh himself, though, has been in five full-length feature films, but perhaps the best was the most recent. Although 2011’s Winnie the Pooh wasn’t a massive hit – it took less money at cinemas than any Disney animated film in the past 10 years – it’s a clever, charming piece of work. It also features six songs, too, from the team of Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Two years later, they’d be famous all over the world for writing the tunes in Frozen.
