Bag Books bring joy to the lives of people with learning disabilities. Can you imagine a world without books in it? That is the reality for thousands of people with profound learning disabilities; words on a page are meaningless and two-dimensional pictures cannot be understood. This is why Bag Books exists; it brings to life the wonderful world of books and stories for those whose learning disabilities mean they cannot benefit from conventional books. Bag Books are multi-sensory stories comprising an eclectic array of objects to engage the senses of sight, sound, smell, touch and motion. Bag Books is the only charity in the UK publishing multi-sensory books.
