Wargrave Festival’s big finale

THIS YEAR’S Wargrave

Festival will come to a close this weekend, but there is fun scheduled right up to the last minute.

Tonight (Thursday) will see a Bingo Night in the festival marquee, and flowers will fill St Mary’s Church as part of the Flower Festival from Friday until Saturday.

The glittering Festival

Ball will take place on Friday evening in the marquee, and the gladrags will get yet another outing on Saturday night for the Wargrave Variety Show.

One of the festival’s main attractions – the Festival Parade – will tour the streets of the village from 12.30pm on Saturday, culminating in a Festival Fete in the festival marquee from 2pm.

Sunday will see the festival come to a close, with a special Festival Service planned at the marquee from 10.30am, followed by a Family Barbecue at 11.45am. Finally, the fun will be wrapped up in style by the BBO Big Band, which will no doubt keep the festivities going long into the night.
