New MP joins Nepalese for river party

NEW Reading East MP Matt Rodda joined members of the local Nepalese community for a special riverside barbecue.

The Labour MP was guest of honour for the event, held by Thames Valley Park on Saturday.

Mr Rodda said: “It was a great opportunity to talk to some of the members of our Nepalese community about matters which concern them the most.

“It was a pleasure and an honour to be invited.”
