In for the kill
A PLAY about a wannabe murderer is showing at
South Hill Park this week.
Comedy thriller Murderer, by Anthony Shaffer, opened at the Bracknell theatre last night.
Presented by the South Hill Park Studio Theatre Company, the play follows Norman Bartholomew’s dangerous obsession to join the ranks of history’s most notorious killers. But how will he do it, and who will he kill? Unfortunately for Norman, people keep getting in his way: his interfering neighbour; a suspicious policeman; his girlfriend who refuses to join in with his deadly games; and his wife.
Full of twists and turns, Shaffer’s play comes to a terrifying climax which will have you clutching your sides and mopping your brow.
Murderer is showing until Saturday at the Studio Theatre, South Hill Park at 7.45pm. Tickets are £13.50, £11.50 for members and concessions.
