Just when you thought it was safe to go into Reading

-

AN EXCITING young indie band will be kicking off their UK tour in Reading next week.

Birmingham-based trio JAWS, who released their second album Simplicity a year ago, are heading out on the road for one last time this year before heading back to the studio.

Visiting venues in Southampton, Newcastle, Sheffield and a homecoming gig in Birmingham, the tour kicks off at Sub 89 on Friday November 17.

The trio - vocalist Connor Schofield, guitarist Alex Hudson, and drummer Eddy Geach - have barely taken a pause for breath since releasing their debut single Toucan Surf in August 2012. Five years on, and having amassed a huge following a praise from the likes of Huw Stephens, the trio are looking to wrap up Simplicity on a high before heading into the studio to start working on their third album.

Jaws, supported by Nelson Can and Trash, will play Sub89 in Reading on Friday, November 17. Age 14+. Tickets are £11 plus booking fee.
