Yes, the roundabout is too small

The letter last week about the roundabout for the Shinfield Relief Road was absolutely correct, it is very narrow indeed. I drove down the new road itself yesterday and can report that the roundabout by the new science park building is even worse!

The two approach lanes merge into one on the roundabout itself with no prior warning. This is very worrying and potentially dangerous.

The two cars in front of me both had to brake very quickly when it became obvious to the drivers that they were being forced together. I am surprised that this has been allowed to occur either by Wokingham Council or Thames Valley Police from a road safety perspective and it needs to be sorted out. David Ansell, via email
