Choral society to sing Messiah

WOKINGHAM’S Choral Society will be celebrating Easter with a performance of Handel’s Messiah.

They will be joined by the Hampstead Chamber Orchestra for the performance which takes place at the University of Reading’s Great Hall.

Also taking part will be guest singers Christine Buras (soprano), Patrick Terry (countertenor), William Wallace (tenor), Michael Mofidian (bass), Benedict Lewis Smith (continuo).

Before the concert starts, there will be a talk by Dr Katie Bank. This starts at 6.30pm on Saturday, March 24.

Tickets cost £15, £5 for students and under 18s.
