Good Friday walk of witness

CHRISTIANS in Wargrave are organising a Good Friday walk of witness around the village.

Starting from Highfield Park at 10am, it will go down Victoria Road, Silverdale Road, Mumbery Hill, Braybrooke Road, Spring Walk, School Lane, Church Street and Mill Green.

There will be stops at Elizabeth Court and The Mount for readings and hymns.

The walk concludes at St Mary’s Church and there will then be refreshments and hot cross buns in the Hannen Room.

Organisers say that everyone, of all ages, is

welcome with prams, scooters, bikes and dogs.

Afterwards, there will be a Good Friday service at St Mary’s Church from 2pm.
