Petition reaches 2,000 signatures

A PETITION that aims to force a debate in Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) over plans to plonk homes in Ruscombe has received more than 2,000 signatures.

Campaigning group Ruscombe Voice is calling on WBC to protect the greenbelt land around the

village, warning of unprecedented traffic chaos and levels of strain on public and local services.

As we went to press, 2,088 people had added their name to the list.
