Hackathon at science park

A TWO-day event aimed at making smart devices smarter is looking for people to get involved.

The Smart City Hackathon is being organised by the Innovation Catalyst team and will be held at the new Thames Valley Science Park in Shinfield.

It will be facilitated by US-based hackathon lead Angel Rivera, chief DEVOPS engineer and developer advocate at microshare.io.

Organisers say that enthusiasm and drive to solve problems is all you need – individuals and teams are all welcome.

Applicants should be interested in integrating IoT hardware and software.

It runs from 5pm on Friday, April 20 to 4pm on Saturday, April 21 and is free to attend.
