Sport Relief helped by business park triathlon

-

GREEN Park held its annual triathlon earlier this month, raising almost £2,000 for Sport Relief.

Started in 2010 by members of its business community, the 2018 triathlon course was completed by more than 100 people.

The course included a swim of 20 lengths (20 metres each) of the pool in the park’s Nuffield Health gym, a 20km cycle ride, and a 5km run through the scenic grounds of the business park.

Participants could also opt to navigate the Funathon – a shortened version of the course, with each element half the distance of the full race – if they preferred.

Rory Carson, vice president of asset management Europe, Green Park said: “The Green Park triathlon has always been a source of pride for us, engaging the local community and showcasing the charitable efforts of our occupiers. We’re excited to see another bumper year of fundraising.

“We’re also committed to ensuring that everyone who works here has access to the facilities and activities they need to stay healthy and happy.

“The triathlon is an example of the fun, teamwork and resourcefulness shown by the businesses – and employees – within Green Park.”
