A whiter than white Colgate glean

RESIDENTS and shoppers in Wokingham have, at last, been able to snatch of glimpse of the new Market Place paving.

Talking to others continuing to attempt navigating the town centre maze-cum-building site, the consensus of opinion seemed to be that the result is rather more avant garde than traditional and not entirely in keeping with the pseudo historic market town image the council is attempting to cobble together.

Time along, of course, will tell how long it will be before the new surface loses its whiter than white Colgate (other toothpastes are available) glean.

Unless, in the unlikely event of the powers-that-be showing willing or being able to properly clean and maintain it on a regular basis, not I suspect, very long.
