This England

My husband and I emigrated to Canada in the year 2000 and we are very happy here, but miss England, too. I taught at the same school for 36 years.

My lovely headmistress, Miss Betty Perkin, knew how much we loved England and to my surprise she ordered “This England” to be delivered to Canada every uarter 1 years ago.

We look forward to it and read every word with great interest what a great maga ine. The last one for Summer 201 was a delight as it brought back so many memories. I am now 3 years old. The subject was “The Royal Air Force”.

I was an only child when my father was in the Air Force so we didn’t see much of him.

I am proud to say he was the chauffeur and secretary to Air Vice Marshall Lord Tedder so your maga ine was wonderful for me to read and think about my dear father, Arthur Stratford. Thank you so much. Barbara Wilcock, Canada.
