WIN SHOT A SHOT SCOPE ON-COURSE TRACKER
As it’s our tech issue we’ve teamed up with the owners of Shot Scope to offer six readers the chance to win their system
Shot Scope has been designed to improve your game – without disturbing it. While similar systems require you to “tag” every shot, this one works entirely in the background as you play; you just tag the pin location at the end of each hole.
The system comes with 20 grip tags (to install in the top of each club) which in conjunction with a wristband automatically tracks every shot you hit during a round. Once you’re done simply sync your wristband with the Shot Scope app on a smart phone or computer and get access to more than 100 tour-level stats from your game. Unlike other GPS tracking systems Shot Scope doesn’t need you to access your phone during your round, or even carry it in your pocket, so you’re free to enjoy your game.
The guys at Shot Scope have improved the putting stats, too, as by tagging the flag at the end of each hole the system knows how close you’ve hit your approach as well as being able to work out how good you are at putting from different distances. Once your round is uploaded you’ll get a map of where you’ve hit every shot, as well as keeping a record of fairways and greens hit along with distances for each shot hit.
