A little while ago I mentioned I changed my headlight lenses to the yellow ones. In the process of doing that I noticed my ‘H4’ headlight bezel didn’t look like other H4 bezels I’d seen. Furthermore, I had to drill out the levelling screw because it was stripped. So I went on the hunt to find a goodquality bezel for H4 headlights.

I found a website that claimed to have European-made, high-quality chromed lenses that were far better quality than the Asian-made ones with cheap plating. I ordered them and got an email explaining that the bezels he had been receiving lately didn’t meet his quality standards and that he was going to send me an OEM brass set that had recently been plated. That’s what I call customer service! I’ll be back for any of my headlight needs in the future.

I recently reserved my spot for Ruchlos Rallye in June. I went to this rally in 2023 and had a blast so I’m looking forward to hanging out in West Virginia with friends I hadn’t seen since last year. I don’t know when the registration will be for the other two rallies I plan to attend this year, but I’m keen to secure my spot.

I haven’t finished with the wiring I started last month. I have one more fuse block in the frunk to finish, then I can fire it up and see if I did it correctly. I’m keen to have all the work I want to complete this year done before mid-april. From then until the rallies start I have a busy schedule, and it won’t leave much time to work on the car. One of my projects is to install a 100-litre fuel tank. I have the tank – I just need to get someone to do some small modifications to it. More on that when I finally get it installed.
