Surrounded by an almost unbelievably turquoise sea, Lefkada remains one of the Ionian’s most unspoilt islands, despite being connected to the mainland by a causeway. Cinematic Milos Beach is something of a hotspot for kitesurfers, while you’ll never run out of swimming options at Kalamitsi, Pefkoulia and Porto Katsiki bays.
