THE EDINBURGH FRINGE
The Edinburgh Fringe, one of the more flexible and reactive of the great arts gatherings, has intimated that, given its decentralised nature, it might try to mount some actual physical productions at the 11th hour, if restrictions are lifted. Failing that, to recreate the experience, simply look across the street, peer into your neighbours’ houses and apply your own voiceovers to the proceedings. A couple arguing tensely over the washing-up? That’s a brave new piece of kitchen-sink drama.
