Snake spotting

A RUNNER spotted a large grass snake enjoying a springtime swim along the Stourbridge Canal, which has been looking much clearer since the lockdown. According to the Canal & River Trust, grass snakes are equally happy on land and in water. The grey-green coloured snake is a harmless reptile which enjoys basking on grassy banks on warm summer days.
