Craft ciders from the heart of England

-

THE family at Holroyd House Farm, Naptonon-the-Hill discovered an abundance of apples growing in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside that were unwanted and going to waste.

From pressing a simple 2000 litres in 2015, their hobby has expanded to a business producing more than 100,000 litres all sourced from small, unsprayed orchards across the UK to support sustainable British farming.

“Knowing these apples could create amazing ciders, our mission became saving as many lost apples as we could,” explained Napton Cidery owner Charlotte Olivier.

“With a desire to craft cider in a natural way, we ferment each cider like wine, using wild yeast. This slow fermentation can take up to nine months but ensures all Napton ciders have their own smooth characteristic taste.”

The result is a range of rich and deep flavoured ciders hand crafted with up to 17 apple varieties

– all with a high juice content and never made from concentrate. Every product is naturally free from gluten and suitable for vegans.

Why not go and enjoy the tap room at Napton and find your new favourite cider! It is now open again on Saturdays (12pm-9pm) with all the government guidelines in place in order to ensure that you have the best experience possible.

“As part of our commitment to keeping our staff and customers safe, we now require that you book ahead to visit our tap toom,” Charlotte continued.

“We also run ploughman’s and cider tasting tours. Made using local produce along with six ciders plus a smooth apple brandy to finish.”
