When working really hard, maximum efficiency of moisture movement is important to prevent the cold and clamminess caused by cooling sweat. This top is made of polyamide (nylon) so it doesn't soak up sweat, but wicks it quickly away from the skin to the outside of the garment. The fast-drying material is stretchy so it fits closely but isn‘t restrictive. It‘s long and snug-fitting with seamless construction to prevent chafing. There‘s a neck zip for more ventilation and thumb loops to prevent the sleeves riding up. It lacks the softness and odour control you‘ll find in some other layers, but when you are really sweaty it keeps you drier.
