SCAFELL PIKE LAKE DISTRICT

A great shot from Mark Gamblin's ascent of Scafell Pike – a self-timed shot at the summit trig point. Mark said, "It was a beautiful alpine-like day to climb England's highest peak, with blue skies and a fair bit of snow above 400m. I chose the Corridor Route from Wasdale after camping at the Wasdale Head Inn the night before."
