COLIN PRIOR, MOUNTAIN LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHER

Ben Starav in Glen Etive. It was here I made my first significant photograph (above) on a mountaintop at sunset, and it awakened me to the potential of shooting at dusk and dawn from elevation. I left the mountaintop that evening knowing in what direction my path lay and what, in photography, was trivial and what was meaningful – it was my epiphany.
