CRINKLE CRAGS LAKE DISTRICT

“This was a very special day indeed for me and my partner Nick Williams,“says Lizzie Ormerod. “We walked up in mist and thick cloud and, to my total surprise, at the top my (now) fiancé produced a ring and proposed. It was so exciting and the surprise bottle of fizz he had packed was quite a luxury! We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed sharing our news in the Old Dungeon Ghyll pub after the day's walk. We are getting married later this year so are deep in the planning now. We love hillwalking and exploring and get Trail every month to give us ideas and inspiration. Crinkle Crags was the first mountain we climbed together four years ago, and now we go to the Lake District each year and it's still our favourite walk that holds a special place in our hearts.“
