Nantlle Ridge

From the car park at Rhyd-Ddu, do the Nantlle Ridge to Mynydd Graig Goch, then make your way to, and down, Cwm Ciprwth, following the stream and yellow marker posts to the old quarry, then to a lane at Cwm Pennant and go north to the Prince of Wales quarry. Uphill, Cwm Trwsgl, to Beddgelert Forest, then just follow the route/track back to Rhyd-Ddu car park. It’s a proper mountain day out, with a real feel of remoteness as you’ll probably have the mountains to yourself. Even the old quarries are interesting.
