Slapin (NG561215)

Terrain Good path up the Allt na Dunaiche, then rougher ground and scree up Coire a’ Caise to the col north of Clach Glas. From here the traverse is a long and committing Moderate/ Difficult grade rock climb through very complex ground. On the ascent of Clach Glas the technical difficulty is modest, but the exposure is extreme in places and a rope and climbing gear should be carried. Descent is complex, and demands a high degree of route-finding ability. Continuing to Blabheinn presents more climbing and route finding challenges before the easier ground of the eastern flank is reached.
