This app is free to download and will give you a highly accurate eastings and northings grid reference of your location. It doesn’t need a mobile signal, so the GPS will work even in remote mountainous areas. It’s a super-handy tool to double-check your exact position on a map, especially when you’re not too confident, in low visibility, or when you are downright lost! If the worst happens and you need to call out Mountain Rescue, this app will enable you to give them your exact location providing you have a phone signal to call them.
