THE LAKE DISTRICT’S BOB GRAHAM ROUND
Traditionally a 24-hour fell run for the elite (or crazy), this route takes in 42 of Lakeland’s highest mountains in a 119km (74 mile) loop. It can be completed in a five- or six-day walk, bagging you very nearly the height of the world’s tallest mountain.
The route starts and ends in Keswick and will take you over Skiddaw, Blencathra, Helvellyn, Fairfield, High Raise, Bowfell, Scafell, Pillar and Great Gable in an epic mountain fest!
