This is our hand-picked bucket list of the 100 UK peaks everyone should climb in their lifetime. It’s a real mixed bag too – including everything from the giants of the Scottish Highlands and razor-sharp Welsh ridges to rolling Yorkshire Dales countryside and Lake District favourites. The Trail 100 isn’t a challenge we expect anyone to complete in a year (although we’ll be seriously impressed if you do), so think of it more as a guide to your future mountain adventures. If you start working your way through the list, by the time you’ve finished you’ll have visited every great mountain region in the UK, plus dozens of awesome lesser-known peaks that most of the population have never even heard of.
