Start Tyddyn-Mawr, grid ref SH556442 Terrain Track, boggy ground, steep grass and scree

This route is unpleasantly steep in ascent, so perhaps best used as a descent offering fine views over the Glaslyn estuary. To get started, follow the track north for roughly a mile and half until, just before the quarry ruins, there is a bend in the track. Continue north-east beside a stream to the bwlch between Bryn Banog and Moel Hebog. Continue north-west to the summit by a very steep spur.
